About The Event
Join us for this wonderful pairing of quintets. First up is the charming Dvořák Quintet for which the DSQ will be joined by renowned bass player Edwin Barker, former principal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Second, they will be joined by one of Maine’s favorite pianists, Yuri Funahashi, in a performance of one of the most well known works in the chamber music literature, Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet.
General Admission $25 – more if you can, less if you can’t, all welcome, no one turned away. Free for UMF Students, and also Free for other youth 18 or under through our Arts Inspire Youth program. Tickets on line (artsfarmington.org) or at the door.
