About The Event
The piano duo team of Yuri Funahashi and Steven Pane presents an exciting program of solo and four-hand piano music. The duo will preview their program which they will perform in Italy, celebrating the theme of water — ocean, lakes and canals — that Maine shares with the two hosting cities, Venice and Pescara. Featured will be works by American composers, Samuel Barber, Amy Beach, Florence Price and Ernest Bloch, as well as Maine composers Philip Carlsen and José Martinez.
