Listen Local, a concert series that focus on talented local performers, began in the fall of 2014. 

 

 

The 2017 Listen Local concert was on March 26th.

 

Local performers are invited to apply at any time.   An audition or CD/tape/web clip is required. 

AIWM will provide the publicity and the venue for the one-hour recitals. Donations will be

welcome and will be dedicated to the piano tuning and maintenance. AIWM is an affiliate of

the University of Maine Farmington—we are particularly happy to hear from student
performers.

The recitals are Sunday afternoons in Nordica Auditorium at UMF, a historic concert hall
with an expanded stage with excellent acoustics but little or no sound system. It seats 400.
Nordica features a Falcone concert grand piano.

 

Our goal is to respond to applicants within 60 days of receiving the application.
